Simple Mail Exchange

Ava is not yet three years old, but she loves getting mail and sending it. I assume your child is the same away. I have come across other letter exchanges overseen by moms (like here) and thought I'd try my own. So, if you would like to participate with us, we would be happy to exchange a letter or drawing with your child. Here's how it works:
  1. Leave a comment below including the name(s) of whom the letter will be sent to, their age, and your email. (Do not leave your address for security reasons.)
  2. I will contact you via email to find out your mailing address.
  3. Ava will send your child a drawing in the mail (with our return address).
  4. Please have your child mail Ava a letter or a drawing back.

That's it! It is just a simple, one-time exchange of mail between Ava and your child. It will be fun (and maybe educational) for both of them!

  1. I would like to try your "mail exchange." Please send it to RayLee, 4 years old, at mapwoman58@yahoo.com How is RayLee to send mail? Will RayLee & Ava be exchanging mail, or will it be with other children? I'm new to this concept. I'm not even sure I put this comment in the right place. Thanks.

  2. Yes, Michelle, your comment is in the right place, and thanks for wanting to participate. To answer your question, I will email you to find out your mailing address and then Ava will send RayLee a piece of mail. After you have received our mail (with return address), RayLee can send a piece of mail back to Ava. That's the end of the mail exchange. It is just a simple, one-time exchange between Ava and your child. Ava will be sending mail to others who comment here, of course. Hope this clarifies. (I'll clarify the post a little now, so thanks for your question.)

  5. Thanks to all of you who have been participating with us! Ava's having so much fun sending mail and then watching the mailbox for her own to arrive. Here's hoping your children are enjoying their mail as much as we are!
